Design a typographic word mark for a fictional type conference called Typo Berlin. The logotype will go on a tote bag, name badges, as well as large banners. Logotype should be designed in black and white.

The typeface that I used for the logotype is Akkurat. To reflect the modern style of the designers of the conference, I decided to use a sans serif typeface for my design. Because typography evolves over time, I deconstructed the logotype and broken up the words into syllables to create a sense of movement by guiding the viewer’s eyes throughout the composition.
