At the start of the MFA program at the Otis College of Art & Design, Otis Design Week consists of a week of workshops and an exhibition. The goal of this project was to make the Otis Design Week Exhibition a venue where incoming graphic design MFA students could make new connections and reinforce existing relationships in a social setting.

Since it was the beginning of the semester, I designed the top, which was inspired by a Korean traditional game, to introduce my culture and create something we could all enjoy. As the top rotates, all the sketched parts on the top combine to form a single pattern image. Individuals can personalize the top using a making kit. Nationality, present location, pronouns, and personality are among the visual features of the top-making kit. Additionally, I modified the slogan "You Belong Here" to "We Belong Here". The “You Belong Here” was a return-to-campus slogan for welcoming the arrival of students, staff, and faculty after over a year of studying and working remotely. “We Belong Here” portrays a deeper sense of belonging and camaraderie.

It piqued students' interest and gave Otis Design Week a more sociable atmosphere, bringing students closer together. The dean professor was stirred by the word "We" and is still considering the expression.
