For a previous project, I had researched our current environment issues and was most alarmed by the threat to the polar ice caps. If the earth's temperature continues to rise on trend, the ice caps will melt and cause a 6ft rise in sea level by the end of the century. This will put many major metropoles around the world under water. I wanted to make people aware of this issue by showing them the fate of one of these metropoles, our beloved New York, if we don't take radical action to protect our environment.
