This assignment allowed to create my own concept for a magazine. The only requirements that everything was original or I had permission to use it. The publication includes front and back covers, flyleafs, a manifesto, table of contents, five feature articles, an interview, and a credits page. This magazine concept is a classic rock music magazine called Spinner that is created by and for a younger audience. In addition to articles, each issue of the magazine includes a mix CD featuring the artists in that month's issue.

I decided to use handmade collage for the imagery in this magazine to make the imagery feel exciting, as well as consistent throughout the magazine. Each issue features a two-color palette, in this case purple and green. The following issue utilizes the secondary color of the previous issue and a new brand color. I also created a fully prototyped app to translate the magazine to mobile format.

I was very happy with the way this project came out and received lots of positive feedback from peers and professors.
