Canada Post has issued two commemorative stamps celebrating the 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 mission that landed humans on the moon for the first time – and the Canadians who helped make it possible. Long-time collaborators, Subplot Design Inc. created the collector’s set.

Inspired by the nature of the spacecraft, Each stamp of the tête-bêche has apart of the spacecraft allowing the user to “undock” and “re-dock” the spacecraft as they use the stamps.Other features of the collection include two phosphorescent inks that give the moon, stars and stamp borders an otherworldly glow under black light; unique angled perforations; and actuals sketches and drawings from the Apollo program design.

In addition to the stamps, Subplot designed an OFDC and a booklet.
