Create a poster to promote the new "Use Your Words" Campaign, and spread its message: Talking to babies improves early childhood development outcomes and better prepares children for school and life.
The poster played off of the analogy of babies' brains being "sponges"--soaking up all they see and hear, which are tools for their emotional and intellectual development. The focus is the photo of the mom sponging her baby in the bath; the "bubbles" rising out of the photo illustrate conversation starters that parents and caregivers can apply and "use their words."
A very happy client and a widely distributed product. The posters are available for order on their website (http://www.alleghenycounty.us/dhs/use-your-words.aspx) and were distributed to health centers, government services buildings, development and educational facilities.
