Because the winter solstice marks the shortest day of the year, the idea to focus on the passing of time was an easy jumping off point for this work event/holiday celebration.

Incorporating the look of a sundial allowed for a lot of information to be featured in an elegant way. The flame was included to tie to the ritual associated with the winter solstice of writing out the ideas that no longer serve you on a piece of paper and burning it as a means of transforming the negative energy into light.

The event had a high RSVP rate and guests were able to navigate the event space easily based on the accompanying handouts.
