To develop a visual language and key art for the 2014 Melbourne Queer Film Festival, an annual festival held in the city of Melbourne in Australia.
The main objective was to cut through the clutter of festival graphics and direct the key market to this spectacular event. The client wanted to expand their market to ensure that all film lovers could find something at this festival - hence "For All Film Lovers" tagline. Focusing on cinema genres was part of the visual approach with the idea of an assortment of lollies reflecting the assortment of films.
The reaction from the client and all key stakeholders was exceptionally positive and the key art has been made into TVC, press and online advertising and the program cover.
