Our project was to shoot a line of sustainably-made yoga products including mats, blocks, straps and fascia rolls for a new green, start-up here in Cologne. The client's mission is to provide eco-friendly yoga supplies, designed in Germany and manufactured in Portugal. My challenge was to align my creative process with theirs and make the purity of their vision come alive in the photos.

It was a pleasure to shoot the warm and peaceful subject of Yoga. Because I was shooting eco-friendly products, I approached this shoot with a high sensitivity to natural tones and textures. The cork products were complimented with warm tones from a sub-floor I had constructed with aged wood. A daylight studio (Lufthaus) was chosen as our location because it was flooded with natural light and I knew it would be perfect for this Zen concept.

I feel the project was a success as I ended up with a happy client, a few portfolio pieces and a beautiful, new yoga mat. :)
