The assignment was to create a letterform trademark for the client's company.
In this exercise I started with lots of fun breaking the letters apart and understand the positive and negative shapes that effect the letter forms. Once I wrapped my head around the letter, it was easy to see this come together. Pairing the type with the mark was approached with the idea of creating the illusion of security and strength, that their company was authentic and strong.
The mark is simple and allows for a wide range of similar simple, pleasing brand touches.
