We started a 2-day workshop series that focuses on the integration of Arabic type and image using various wordplays. Each workshop works with one sentence, and led by an instructor. The first of the series of workshops started with an Arabic wordplay that translates into "The view from the viewers point of view."
Approach
"The view from the viewer's point of view" focuses on the integration of Arabic type and image. The poster was constructed out of paper cut outs, printed type, and paper folds.
Results
First, visuals were created, then cut out, mounted, and photographed on colored backgrounds. Finally, the text was printed out, photographed in different perspectives, and integrated into the poster. The final form illustrates views from different perspectives.
