The assignment was to create a typographic logo for a self-created company, and then to ultimately create collateral and a brand identity for the company. There was to be very minimal imagery in the logo, if any at all, and the full idea had to be expressed through typographic means.

My company I created was a delivery service comparable to Amazon Prime or UPS, but with extra features and more reliable service. My approach was to show "fast-forward"-esque arrows within the mark, to emphasize a modern and technological approach, and rapid service. Thus, every one of your shipping needs can be solved with the 'kilk' of a button. I also emphasized the symmetry of the company name, which I believe helps make it more memorable.

I think my logo turned out extremely effective and visually pleasing as well. It represents everything I wanted the company to, and it's not too distracting with overly illustrative marks. I went with a teal color to not only read as trustworthy, but also as younger and more responsive. It works very well as a piece to easily slip into collateral or product packaging.
