The world of consumer technology moves quick. We forget the failures and refine the successes, but we also use the failures to refine those successes. Utilizing images of the individual items and their promotional materials and images of them in use, the book creates an array of strong colors that give us a glimpse into a past we were all too eager to forget.
A book that showcases failures in technology from the 70's to 2010's. The main entries follow a theme of strong color with a hero image of the item on one page, and additional images on the other. Each chapter (or decade) opens with a spread designed around the visual trends of the time, and the most famous (or infamous) failure of the decade is given a longer write up and a spread that breaks the pattern, to maintain visual excitement.
