The Asian Contest of the Rookies’ Award is the biggest contest for architecture students in Asia. They were gathered in Osaka and examined by committee consists of Asian architects.

Design was decided on some traditional Asian architecture motif to encourage students.

Students have chosen from ten countries, Japan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. Their works were discussed that indicate the future way to new modern architecture not only in Asia but also in the world.
