Child labor is a worldwide epidemic that plagues 168 million children worldwide. We were tasked with addressing this problem through advertising.
Approach
We set out to show that children are not meant to conduct the tasks that are asked of them in child labor. By juxtaposing the tasks typically associated with children with the actual settings of child labor abuses, we hoped to bring it "home" enough for people to be inspired to take action.
Results
In a print series, we depicted scenes of horrific child labor conditions and called our audiences to action with a link to a microsite aimed at garnering donations for the Child Labor Coalition.
