As a collaborative effort with the "March For Our Lives" activists and ad agency McCann, I developed a poster series about gun control that serves as collateral to support their music video called “The most vicious cycle,” released in October of 2018. The video, featuring a song by pop icon Kesha, her younger brother Sage Sebert and up and coming rapper Chika, dramatizes the cycle of gun violence in America and reminds young people that voting for politicians who support common sense gun legislation is the only way to end it.
The series condemns a fallacious notion of safety under current gun laws, enabled by a harmful and deceitful system. A series of images evoke feelings of fear, panic, and terror inflicted upon Americans, who experience gun violence as a perpetual nightmare.
The posters are designed at 36x48in and are available for download on the MFOL website (https://marchforourlives.com/the-most-vicious-cycle/downloads/).
