Representing the true story of the Silent Twins respectfully and beautifully was the main goal of this campaign. In order to do so, it was our job to balance realism with whimsy, dark thematic undertones with symbols of light and positivity, all while conveying the severity of the story without turning audiences away.
Palate, treatment, photography and selection of expressions were our major tools in creating this piece of key art. While many of the color hues are darker, we softened the art overall. It was through balancing techniques such as this we were able to explore the light and darkness of their story. The central device offers a unique approach in uniting and separating the twin’s faces simultaneously while the symbols inside integrated with the type hinted at the sometimes chaotic and confusing nature between them.
The client was so pleased with our presentation, it was difficult for them to select just one approach. However, they felt this piece of art was the best overall interpretation of balance across the board and will be a major tool in driving viewership.
