We decided to do a departure from the hardcover look we designed a year ago (a much cleaner, Swiss-style design), and instead go as bold and in-your-face as we possibly could. We chose a new image from the same original shoot we did with Steven Gomillion, integrated it carefully with just “KHLOÉ” as big as we could possibly make it, in neon pink. The edges of the book-block were stained in the same neon pink color. The title was moved to the spine in favor of maximizing impact of her image, her name, and the New York Times Bestseller tagline. The type was created using a variety of handwritten fonts that were heavily customized.
