The goal of this project was to create packaging for the Dream Garden Tea Room’s own in-house brand of tea.

I tried out a couple different styles and decided on going with an illustrative continuous pattern. I was inspired by the elegance of perfume packaging, and I figured the pattern and layout could reflect that.
Most tea brands use large boxes that take up a lot of space, this makes it difficult for collectors to see what selections they have in a single glance. To combat this, I decided to make the boxes slim on the side like a book so teas could be placed side by side in a row.
Finally, I chose to use the pattern on the inside and outside of the box to make the entire experience exciting.

The prints came out just a little darker than I expected but I am happy with the turnout. I feel the three patterns work well together and have the same feel, so all my goals were met and I still managed to impress myself.
