Long time San Francisco printing rep, Chip Forman, asked Michael to create a logo for his new printing business.
Approach
Chip wanted to pay homage to his father by using the original name of his dad's car dealership. It was not only a strategic creative decision, but a heartfelt one as well.
Results
The intriguing, non-printing-related words,'Motor Company', causes potential clients to pause and ask 'What the...?'. The name itself as well as the simple, vintage round logo design feels very comfortable to Chip. He's having fun with it.
