This poster was made as a personal project for the “DESIGN IT! 2019 poster contest for the vision of the event: SWISS ART EXPO 2019 which was held from August 15th to 19th. With over 80,000 visitors daily, it is one of the most visited places in Switzerland.
The composition is entirely made from the typographic sign "SWISSARTEXPO” each letter is transformed into a 3D object functioning as multiple exhibition halls in which enormous crowds are moving and looking at art. The people are shown with simple brushstrokes. I used red and white as a symbol of Switzerland and the crowd in blue tones for contrast.⠀
The poster was selected to be part of The Ninth International Triennial of Stage Poster–Sofia 2019 in section "Festival Posters" and I received the Prize for Young Author (not older than 35). A bronze plaque by Georgi Chapkanov in memory of the eminent Bulgarian artist Assen Stareyshinski.
