ASSIGNMENT: Design an original, useable typeface inspired by and named for a Newhouse professor or staff member, and export it as a working .otf font file.
Approach
PROCESS/TASKS: Research, interviews, observation, conceptualization, actual glyph design (including letters, numerals, punctuation marks and symbols), kerning of letter pairs and export to usable .otf file.
Results
OUTCOME: A working typeface that not only captures the character of the muse who inspired it but that can be installed and used by anyone.
