Orlando bombings was one of the incidence that showed how LGBT community still face lack of acceptance in our society. GLAAD is a dynamic media force that tackles these tough issues to create a platform for conversation that might help in changing the old culture and perceptions. The transgender community, for example, would sometimes face resentment and would not be approved to be the other gender unless they do organ transplantation. Other who had the courage to face the society, might not have the money to do the transformation surgery.

Using a gestalt principle of " Figure-Ground", my illustration is a butterfly that has a male organ as it’s body. Like a butterfly that has four stages of life cycles that starts with a caterpillar and ends with a butterfly, this metamorphosis aims to remind the viewer that "trans" and reformation of bodies is natural.
