Whilst preparing to launch a new season of jewellery and homewares, our existing client, Dinosaur Designs required a mail out brochure to showcase their new Modern Tribal collection. Opting to design this in the form of a poster wrap, we decided to use a blend of striking photography and the featured product’s distinct textures and blurred division of colours to create a double-sided handout, equally dedicated to the brand’s two key offerings.
Informed by the moody colours and earthy tones which are prominent in the new collection, we took a minimalistic design approach and simply allowed the photography and highlighted products to speak for themselves. By championing Dinosaur Designs’ highly distinguished and recognisable aesthetic, it was also imperative that the contrasts we made both in gentle textual placement and choice of vivid background colour, work seamlessly with the nature of what our client’s audience have grown to love about their brand and identity.
As a result, the poster clearly follows Dinosaur Designs’ tailored brief to emphasise this season’s key pieces and provide their customers with an artistic keepsake, while the photography and collection imagery evidently play the hero.
