Season one of Fargo was a great success for FX causing much anticipation for the second season. Like the original movie and the first season mini-series on FX, they wanted to continue the brand, which is the dark humor intersection of "homespun" and "violent." With a whole new cast and plot line, we continued to explore the core themes of the show, but in new iconic ways.

Fargo is dark but with a clever edge so we strive to find a balance between imagery that captures the violence, drama and grit, but with a sense of the slightly absurd and a touch of that homespun feel.

Critics praised the second season of "Fargo" for preserving elements that influenced the success of the first season. The second season received a 100 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
