An experimental research poster that conceptually represents the mind’s stream of consciousness and its ability to layer, fragment and interpret complex thought.
Through The Mind makes use of linear patterning, postmodern typography and the remnants of indiscriminate words and numerals gathered through seven years of library notation. The spool of generated text was carefully positioned over a lighted tablet screen—conceived as a contrast between technological advancement and generational methods of thought recording. The piece combines photographed physical object and digital typographic work.
The resulting work belongs to a series of research intensive visual explorations that examine the intersection of design, typography and the understanding of thought development.
