My stamps represent foods that we see as foreign but were actually invented here in America by immigrants. The illustrations in each stamp represent each food, with a shadow of the state they were invented in behind it. I did extensive research on each food and origin for accuracy. My purpose with these stamps is to highlight the impact that immigrants have had on this country that we often don't realize, or take for granted. I believe immigrants should be an essential part of patriotism, and these stamps represent that.
