The assignment was to create a print ad for vegan protein, promoting it as being just as effective at strengthening muscles as non-vegan sources of protein.
To change people's perception of vegan protein we came up with a visual metaphor by creating a T-bone steak out of quinoa, brown rice, barley, and millet-- ingredients which are included in Garden of Life's protein powder. This striking visual paired with the line "Beef up without the beef" supports the claim that vegan protein powder is just as good, if not better for your strengthening your muscles than animal based proteins.
The project came out as well as we hoped. It's clean and simple while sending a compelling message to skeptics of vegan protein.
