The goal of this project was to create a mark representing a brand that produces stainable bamboo toothbrushes. The brand is named Tooboo, which is a combination of the words toothbrush and bamboo.

The process for this project began with researching the importance of sustainable everyday products. Bamboo is an excellent alternative material to plastic for most everyday items, including the toothbrush. The next step was to experiment with different ways to represent bamboo or sustainability. The solution was to utilize the shapes of the letterforms so that when they are stacked, they create two shoots of bamboo.

This project is successful because it utilizes the shapes of the letterforms in the brand’s name to create an object that highlights the importance of the materials used in the products.
