After a great response from the fans and players, we revisited the concept of "Green Collar Baseball" for the 2014 Oakland A's season. The idea spawned from the fact that the A's are a gritty, scrappy and young team.
To make up for their lack of experience, they give an extra dose of hustle and effort in everything they do. We communicated this message across a fully integrated campaign including print, outdoor, online and obviously television.
We like to think that the campaign was one of the key factors driving a rise in ticket sales and attendance despite a less than stellar record by our beloved Athletics.
