In celebration of Earth Month, these posters are portraits of flowers with an innate benefit incorporated into its structure.
The goal is to remind us of how flowers—with the earliest flowers dating over 130 million years ago— are such an integral part of our planet’s ecology, aside from their aesthetic and emotional benefits. The sunflower uses the sun and produces edible seeds. The calla generates oxygen and cleans the air. The lily lifts our mood with its aromatherapy. Sustainable and reproduction champions, flowers are critical to us and our planet.
The series is an homage to these hard-working botanical wonders and brings attention to the true beauty of “Flower Power” for Earth Month.
Created as a self-promotion project, we collaborated on the selection of the flower and ways to highlight the benefit into the flower. The posters are shown on our portfolio websites as well as mailed out as flyers and promoted with social media posts during Earth Month in April.
The campaign features striking photography and a concept that should resonate and inspire everyone to appreciate flowers beyond their beauty, and beyond Earth Month.
