Fundraising is almost as exhausting as doing a marathon, so when designer Luke Trickett got a place as one of the ‘lucky’ athletes to participate in The Virgin London Marathon he was determined to hit his target for his charity, The Debbie Fund, without endlessly nagging his family and friends.
He organised a raffle with a difference, real tickets were pinned to mini posters of runners vests.
‘The Marathon Raffle’ was so popular it exceeded the target by more than £3,000 for the charity without breaking a sweat.
