Approach
Working slowly and intimately with a 1920s Graflex Super D I'm making minimalist modern portraits with an organic feeling.
Results
The challenge to the actors I photograph is to reveal emotion with only their face, no set, action, script or context. It's been illuminating to my work as a director to see these seasoned professionals at work.
