We were tasked with developing an elevated look for Pacific Place, a high-end shopping center situated in the heart of downtown Seattle. The logo needed to mimic that of a luxury brand, providing an identifiable mark that would appeal to top-of-the-line retailers.
In contrast to its pre-existing logo, we wanted to develop an original mark that Pacific Place could own; it should not be anything that people had seen before. By creating the design out of a repeating “P” shape, the mark is unique to the client, yet not too literal. Elegant and distinct were the goals.
Both Pacific Place and its retailers feel the logo refresh is exactly the transformation the center needed, as it continues to attract world renowned brands.
