We were asked to re-brand an 80-year old boutique that specialized in fine linens, lingerie and children’s clothing. The client needed a writing system to communicate with its traditional client base who still appreciates the special touches of a hand-written note and well crafted letter.
For the brand identity, we chose to use a navy and mint color scheme which accompanies a hand-crafted monogram for the brand logo mark. We believed that a timeless traditional approach was the best way to achieve the right balance between the legacy of the boutique while signaling something new.
The writing system, which includes multiple business cards, a standard letterhead and a note card, has created a useful mechanism for the merchant to maintain a lasting connection with customers who have been shopping in the store, in many cases, for decades.
