This project was creating a cover illustration of the book “Life of Pi”.
Approach
I created multiple sketches based on the story and characters of the book. I brainstormed the most important elements in the story such as the tiger, ocean, and boat. I combined those elements to create the cover illustration for the book.
Results
The small details such as a little boy and a boat make the image more interesting and fun to look at. Also, the elements in the illustration conveys the story of the book.
