Using type or a combination of type and image/illustration, interpret a bond or bonds we share with our four-legged friends. The poster exhibition will be an artistic celebration of canines—from the humorous to the poignant.
At dog shows around the world, dogs of various breeds compete with their trainers in pursuit of the highest honor, Best in Show. Although Best in Show is the name of the competition and exhibition, designers are not required to use the title in their entry/entries. Rather, entrants are encouraged to find a different source of canine inspiration. For example, a designer may find compelling data while researching dogs and use said data to create an infographic. One might create a highly illustrative submission inspired by the personality quirks of a beloved pet. Others might create typographic posters inspired by heroic tales of service dogs. The possibilities are endless. The competition asks that you create posters that explore our furry friends and the relationships we have with them.
