We were asked to create a limited edition album for a non-profit organization a specific cause of our choice with the album art being a conceptual typography design. The front cover, back cover, inside spread and vinyl disk of a gatefold album was designed. Along with additional deliverables like a Spotify playlist and promotional website were made using elements of the design.

This album was produced to support The School of Acrobatics and New Circus Art's (SANCA) mission of improving the mental, emotional and physical health by engaging in the creativity of aerobatic arts while celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Cirque Du Soleil. The silhouettes of moving throughout the album represent the legendary acts of the performers of the Cirque Du Soleil while also bringing attention to the hand lettered typography. The typography itself is remnant of old vintage circus art which contrasts well with the red tones and gold found throughout the album. All of it coming together to create a dynamic and nostalgic design that captures the beauty of the circus arts.

Those who received the album and listened to the playlist were very pleased with both the design and the selection of music. It provokes a sort of nostalgia with the late 20th century and early 21st century music that goes along with the overall look and feel of the album that everyone can enjoy.
