Bruno Mars wanted to take his rum brand, SelvaRey to a new level of luxury. He wanted to stand apart from the competition. He enlisted Troup to collaborate with him to overhaul everything, starting with the logo. And it needed to look like nothing else in the market, and feel like a rum fit for a king.

Not only did we craft all aspects of the rum branding, but we worked iteratively with the glass manufacturer to produce a custom shape, color and base. And for the box that houses the Owner's Reserve, we designed a custom magnetic seal box, wrapped with leather embossed stock, custom painting, spot UV and custom interior foam inset. Signed off with a custom thank you from Bruno himself.

Like the artist himself, the brand & packaging is now a work of art too.

SelvaRey had an incredible launch with the new look and feel of the brand and packaging. So much so, that it inspired the look and feel of the website, social media, and campaign look and feel.
