This is a poster we designed for a contemporary art lecture given by Richard Henry at the Slade Summer School, UCL. A title of a lecture was 'Contemplative Geometry: The Language of Symmetry and Symbol'.
Richard Henry is an artist with an interest in the contemplative aspects of patterns. He has undertaken substantial research into 'The Contemplative Geometry: The Language of Symmetry and Symbol'.
We designed a typeface that reflected the style of the geometric design to be used in a poster for his contemporary art lecture. Each poster’s geometry is intentionally left incomplete to be finished by hand with a red maker, thus, enabling uniqueness.
These lecture posters fit the ideas that the client wished to convey, to which the client was extremely satisfied.
