The municipality of Bragança, in collaboration with the research center CEPESE (Study Center of Population, Economy and Society), published a book on the history of the region from its prehistoric beginnings until the Liberal Revolution in 1820. This book addresses historical facts about society, history, economics, politics, demographics, and the religious, cultural and urban activities of the territory.

Our graphics project is based on the concept of the infinite scroll in a webpage. Our focus was to clearly identify different levels of information and to balance text density with generous title openings and big format pictures. The book navigation is intuitive and simplified thanks to the side index and a hierarchy defined by the titles and subtitles styles.

The book, while fulfilling every hierarchical criterion of a scientific and academic publication, is also an object with significant value for every citizen of Bragança. In addition to the texts, the book is also an album with almost 500 images, photographs and historical documents that reveal the territory and its patrimony.
