With all the new devices available to our younger audience, the Chicago Public Library system was trying to figure a way to get young readers to return to the libraries and revisit the old classic books.
Our goal was to lure young readers in by making these classics, super hip fresh and attractive to our young readers. A new fashion was created for each of our classic books characters. Through a major poster campaign and advertising campaign we created these beautiful visuals of a modern-day Frankenstein, Jungle Boy, The Scarlet letter etc.
The project was a huge success with the Client being overwhelmed by the responses received from new attendees of the local Chicago library branches. The posters brought new energy to the classics baby boomers grew up with. The campaign went on to win many awards.
