Writing a book is hard, but it's easier with help, so what if 100 strangers could become 100 co-authors?
Approach
The Book By Strangers is an experiment in anonymous collaboration. I wanted see if words could connect strangers who never met each other, so I asked people on the streets of San Francisco to write a book together.

Results
This personal project ended up spreading internationally to the U.S., Japan, France, and Sweden. It also inspired others to do the same project in their local communities. Currently, there are international students making a new book in Japan. You can read that here: www.onebooktoyu.jimdo.com
