Communica was entrusted with developing the identity from conception to delivery for a new multi billion-dollar global brand, Auria, from the ground up. Key to the identity was the creation of a strong logo design that would appropriately and dynamically reflect the organization’s position as an immediate leader in soft trim and textiles for the automotive industry worldwide.
Our creative strategy team was instrumental in the development of the organization’s name and verbal identity. The design team then went to work creating the visual counterpart. This final logo design was chosen due to its ability to work on multiple levels effectively. First, the overall sense of strength conveyed within the design perfectly aligns with the organization’s own strength. Second, a focus on the first letter of the organization (“A”) assists in effectively positioning the organization against its competitors in the global arena. Finally, integrated design components serve to creatively evoke the organization’s focus on acoustics and sound management.
As part of the larger visual brand identity system Communica created for Auria, the logo has been prominently featured across myriad brand applications and executions, from signage installed at the organization’s global facilities, to its use on global advertising campaigns launched to successfully roll-out the brand to the OEM audiences.
