These booklets were produced as a takeaway for attendees of the 2015 State of the City Address. They helped to "tell our story" to larger audiences, not just with numbers, but pictures in a way that a technical budget document could not. It was designed to align with the theme, Tomorrow is Today and highlight our advancements as well as places we could improve.
Approach
My goal was to decipher numerous pages of data and distill that information into a visual piece the average citizen could comprehend.
Results
It was well-received by guests and many asked for additional copies to show others what the city is doing to impact the lives of the residents. It was also given out as gifts by the City Manager to introduce the city during his business development trip to China. The booklet was leveraged as part of a presentation to bond agencies during successful bond rating meetings.
