Our assignment was to create a poster, print ad and social post that would welcome the Women’s Final Four basketball teams to Tampa Bay. At the same time, we wanted to encourage them to visit the Aquarium and stress how close they could get to our many amazing sea creatures.

We took a normal basketball sneaker and gave it some very distinctive shark features. Then we further played off this “foot” theme by emphasizing how you can get within a foot of over 8,000 captivating creatures.

This eye-catching image was well-liked by the Aquarium marketing team. We were able to reach a sports-oriented audience in a fun way that they could really relate to and helped drive up attendance at the Aquarium while this Final Four tourney was in town.
