Self portrait / Poster
It was an extremely difficult task to design a poster for my own exhibition in the great Museum of Arts and Crafts. Exhibition presented more than 600 works from the long period of 30 years. The portrait photo captured by the my wife Rajna-Buzic Ljubicic 20 years ago, appeared to be the right solution.

Approach
The exhibition was entitled Square & Circle:these are two basic, yet opposed geometrical shapes, so the two halves of face (one shaved one with the beard) completely correspond to the concept. Square and circle Incorporated in the sunglasses represent the theme of the exhibition. The same photo was used for the poster of Dutch self-portrait (Netherlands young art) but the face was turned, because the exhibition did not represent the person who is in the photo.

Both posters caused quite a stir, especially because it was not a photo-shop assembly of two photographs but quite natural and authentic photo . Pasting the posters for the exhibition of Dutch self-portrait in the city and in public space of the poster was understood as a showcase of the person shown on the poster. However the exhibition represented quite young and unknown authors who only seek their own style in art, but this double represented a starting point where they must opt for something that will represent them in their work in the future.
