The assignment was to create a branding system for the Central Texas-based company, Daisetta, which is a boutique nursery specializing in plants that thrive in the Texas Hill Country climate. They offer a wide range of flowers, succulents, and supplies, in addition to offering property consultations that will help customers find the best plants for their land based on soil conditions, elevation, and livestock safety.

My approach was to highlight the brand's themes of native Texas plants, livestock safety, and keeping the state green. All of the brand's print materials are printed on seed paper to reduce waste. The bags of prickly pear paddles will offered as an inexpensive, easy, and waste-free way for customers to grow a few of these Texas plants at home. The advertising campaign reflects the graphic style of the logo, and each ad points back to the one of the brand's main themes.

The result is a successful branding system that reflects Daisetta's overall goal of offering quality Texas plants and landscape services to customers living in the Hill Country.
