The assignment was to create a three part print ad campaign. The goals were to make a thoroughly conceptualized message for the Nintendo Switch Lite and to portray that message with a unified theme in each piece.
After concepting and finding different solutions, this concept in particular was chosen due to the simplicity of it. The Nintendo Switch Lite is advertised to be lighter than the normal Switch, but holds all the same power. I took that message and ran with it, using the most well known characters from Nintendo games to help send the "light" weight message by holding the Switch with just the tip of a hand (or tail).
The centered characters with the simple white background help create emphasis on the product. Type didn't need to be to bold or heavy, since we are going for the "light" theme. Sticking, simple, and clear communication is what came of the finished product.
