Initially, DEI Sales approached me to re-design their logo as they felt their previous logo had become dated and did not communicate the direction of modernity to which the company are travelling. This work resulted in a second job, which is the work I am submitting to the Graphis New Talent competition, a book called; ‘How Great Sales Leaders Make Things Happen’. This book is an introduction to the fundamentals of sales leadership. It was vitally important that the company's identity was visible throughout the design of the book.

The solution for providing consistency throughout the design of this book was a grid made up of 20x20pt circles, derived from the circular shapes found in the logotype for which TT Commons, a geometric sans, was used. This grid was the basis of everything in the book from the typographic indents to the information graphics found throughout.

The success of this project is yet to be determined as it is only recently completed. That being said, the client testimonial was as follows: "Finan is an outstandingly creative thinker and designer, equally comfortable in print and digital. He quickly understands the messaging needs of the client and translates that into clear, memorable and relevant design. He is very tuned into the needs, personas and behaviours of the target audiences and can create engaging visual and verbal messaging at a high level. His design approach is lean and clutter-free."
